OneByOne is founded on the belief
it is the responsibility of those blessed, in a financial way, to support our brothers and sisters who do not have the same
type of opportunities.
OneByOne is not for profit and was
established in 2007 by Kristin Iverson Vachuska. The project was inspired during a trip to the (Liberian) Buduburam Refugee
Camp (Ghana) while taking statements for the Liberian Truth and Reconciliation Commission; documenting human rights violations
from the prior conflicts in Liberia. Education is the only way young Liberian refugees will have an opportunity, or
even a fighting chance at a better future. Supporting the education of young female students is especially important
to OneByOne.
OneByOne has
been blessed with this divine intervention and is proud to serve this forgotten population and the future of Africa.
