What We Do: Promote peace, stability and equality through education

Our Mission

Serving our brothers and sisters in Africa by promoting peace, creating opportunities and empowerment through education to the children living in rural Liberia including the communities in which they live.

Goals and Vision

* To Gain further commitments and resources from the International Community in order to educate Liberian children who are not currently enrolled in school.

* To educate one child at a time

*To give opportunity to one child at a time

*To give girl children equal opportunity at education

* To give hope and a future to one child at a time

* To give all tuition donations directly to the children's school

* To provide support for health/medical education to increase quality of daily life

* To provide support for human rights education especially education regarding gender based violence.

* To promote peace through education

Thank you to Carter Memorial United Methodist Church in Needham, MA!  The recent teddy bear tea party was a great success and the children of Liberia are sure to enjoy the donated items.  They also raised enough money to send one more child to school - way to go kids of Carter! We felt welcome and blessed to be included in their ministry.

Thank you to Olivia Cassell and JJ Inspirations for a meaningful and entertaining evening ! The Gospel Concert went well with overwhelming support for OneByOne. Thank you to those who attended the event!

OneByOne chosen as 2010's charity!  Please Consider attending the Minnesota International Fashion Expose March 13, 2010. A portion of the proceeds will benefit OneByOne! Your attendance at this event will not only be fun, but will support the mission of OneByOne as well !

Please consider helping us send Christmas stockings and school supplies to Liberia! We will ship these items in September 2010 and are requesting you keep us in mind as you shop for great deals throughout the year! Our collections of stockings in Jan '10 this year brough in over 200 stockings! We have a lot of work to do and will need all the help we can get! Look for more details summer 2010!

Announcing the release of "Clara Meets Mr. Twiddles", a children's book written by Lynnette Murray-Gibson originally of Liberia and a resident of Minnesota!  $2 of every book purchase will be donated to the OneByOne scholarship fund !

Many Thanks to the Children of Carter Memorial UMC  !!!

 

In February 2009, Carter Memorial UMC (located in MA, USA) hosted a children's tea party where 25 children attended and brought teddy bears to send to Liberia.  Thanks to Amy Pucell for her role in organizing the event as well as the Carter Memorial UMC congregation for their generous financial donation.  Children of Liberia, we are sending our love- here come your teddy bears !!!
